The roundtable explores "how we discover codes, bearers of meaning, and how we reconstruct that meaning in archeology & paleoanthropology, in psychoanalysis, and in neuroscience research on memory."

00:08:26 area of expertise that goes into specific examples of decoding or coding and I'd like us to start with hieroglyphs the Rosetta Stone anniversary stuff like that okay David so that sounds good to me well actually I mean the the the ancient languages and scripts that are mainly deal with are not the hieroglyphic ones from Egypt but just from the near East and especially the first system of writing ever invented in world history the kidney form writing system and there we see in
