Biography

William Grassie is an American scholar and activist who founded the Metanexus Institute to promote scientifically rigorous and philosophically open-ended explorations of foundational questions at the intersection of science and religion. He earned a Ph.D. in comparative religion from Temple University and has taught at Temple University, Swarthmore College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
