Silver Professor of Philosophy, NYU
Paul Boghossian is the Silver Professor of Philosophy at New York University, where he chaired the department from 1994 to 2004 and is credited with building it into the top-ranked philosophy program in the United States. His research interests include epistemology, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language, and he is known for defending a version of the analytic-synthetic distinction. He also serves as director of the New York Institute of Philosophy.
