Biography

Farzad Mahootian is a philosopher of science with an interdisciplinary background spanning philosophy (PhD, Fordham University) and chemistry (MS, Georgetown University). He has taught philosophy, science, and humanities courses for over thirty years, and his research centers on interactions between philosophy, science, technology, and society, with special interest in the relevance of rhetoric, myth, and metaphor to the history of science and philosophy.
