Biography

Yalda Moayedi is a neuroscientist whose research focuses on somatosensory neurons that innervate the oral cavity and upper airway, and how they contribute to oral functions including flavor perception, food choice, feeding mechanics, and airway defense. She received her PhD in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine.
