Biography

Susan Lutgendorf is a psychoneuroimmunologist whose research reveals critical insights into how psychological stress influences inflammation, neuroendocrine function, and tumor biology. Over her 30-year career, she has made an exceptional impact studying how behavior influences health, particularly in the context of ovarian cancer. She currently leads a multi-site NCI-funded intervention study for ovarian cancer survivors.
