Richard Deming

Richard Deming is an American poet, theorist, and art critic who directs the Creative Writing program at Yale University. His work explores the intersections of literature, philosophy, and visual culture across both critical studies and poetry. He is the author of five books including the critical study 'Art of the Ordinary' and the poetry collection 'Let's Not Call It Consequence', which received the Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America.
