Biography
Megan Abbott is a New York Times bestselling and Edgar Award-winning novelist known for her psychologically intense crime fiction, including Dare Me, The Fever, Give Me Your Hand, and The Turnout. She holds a PhD in English and American literature from NYU and began her career as a scholar of hardboiled fiction and film noir. She has also worked as a screenwriter for HBO's The Deuce and adapted Dare Me into a television series for USA Network.
