Kenneth Miller is the Peter Taylor Professor of Neuroscience and co-Director of the Center for Theoretical Neuroscience at Columbia University. A theoretical biologist who uses tools from physics and quantitative fields to study the brain, his research focuses on understanding the circuitry of the cerebral cortex using computational methods. He received the Swartz Prize in Theoretical and Computational Neuroscience from the Society for Neuroscience.
