Biography

Katalin Balog is a philosopher whose research centers on consciousness, the self, subjectivity, and the mind-body problem. Born in Budapest, she came to the United States in 1989 and earned her PhD at Rutgers-New Brunswick. Before joining Rutgers-Newark, she taught at Cornell and Yale for over a decade.
