Dale Jamieson

Dale Jamieson is Professor of Environmental Studies and Philosophy at New York University, where he led the creation of the Department of Environmental Studies and the graduate program in Animal Studies. A scholar of environmental ethics, animal rights, and climate change discourse, he is the author of Reason in a Dark Time: Why the Struggle to Stop Climate Change Failed--and What It Means For Our Future (2014) and Ethics and the Environment: An Introduction (2008). He also serves as director of NYU's Animal Studies Initiative.
