Neuroscientist and Philosopher of Olfaction, Rockefeller University
Andreas Keller is a Guest Investigator at Rockefeller University who studies human odor perception, conducting research at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience and philosophy with a focus on olfaction. He holds PhDs in both neuroscience from the University of Wurzburg and philosophy from the City University of New York. His landmark study in the Laboratory of Neurogenetics and Behavior demonstrated that humans can distinguish more than one trillion odor mixtures, and he is the author of Philosophy of Olfactory Perception.
