Biography

Wendy Suzuki holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UC San Diego and an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley. She completed postdoctoral training at the National Institutes of Health before joining NYU's Center for Neural Science in 1998. Her research examines brain activity patterns underlying long-term memory and the effects of aerobic exercise on learning, memory, and cognitive function. She has received the Lindsley Prize from the Society for Neuroscience, the Troland Research Award from the National Academy of Sciences, and NYU's Golden Dozen Teaching Award. She is a frequent TEDx speaker and media contributor. Her published work includes the book "Healthy Brain Happy Life."
