Tega Brain
Biography
Tega Brain is an Australian-born artist and environmental engineer who is an Industry Associate Professor of Integrated Design and Media at New York University. Her work examines issues of ecology, data, automation, and infrastructure, reimagining technologies to address their environmental and political dimensions. She co-authored the textbook Code as Creative Medium (2021) and her art has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art and discussed in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Artforum.
