Biography

Theodore J. Jacobs is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who has authored over 60 papers and book reviews on psychoanalytic topics. He introduced the concept of 'enactment' to describe the unconscious behaviors of patient and analyst, and has explored the role of non-verbal communication and countertransference in analytic treatment.
