Independent Filmmaker
Tayarisha Poe is a storyteller from West Philadelphia who believes that all stories are inherently multi-sensory and multi-dimensional, and thus should be told that way. She received recognition including selection as one of 25 New Faces by Filmmaker Magazine (2015), the Sundance Institute's Knight Foundation Fellowship (2016), selection for Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Labs (2017), and designation as a 2017 Pew Fellow. Her debut feature film, "SELAH AND THE SPADES," premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
