Stephen Massimilla is a poet, scholar, professor, painter, and author who holds an MFA and a PhD from Columbia University. He teaches at Columbia University and The New School, and his poetry has won numerous national awards. His work spans multiple genres including poetry, culinary writing, and anthologies focused on social justice.
