Stephanie Brown
Biography
Stephanie Brown is a social psychologist whose research focuses on the neuro-affective mechanisms underlying altruistic and prosocial behavior. She uses neuroimaging and biomarkers to test whether helping behavior in humans emerges from neural circuits that evolved to motivate parenting behavior, with implications for understanding stress regulation, health, and longevity.
