Biography

Sarah Demers is an American experimental particle physicist and Chair of the Department of Physics at Yale University. She uses charged leptons, primarily taus and muons, to search for physics beyond the Standard Model as a member of the ATLAS and Mu2e Collaborations at CERN. She co-authored the book 'Physics and Dance' with Yale Professor Emily Coates and co-teaches 'The Physics of Dance' at Yale.
