Biography

Penelope Lewis is a neuroscientist and Professor of Psychology at Cardiff University, where she directs the Neuroscience and Psychology of Sleep (NAPS) lab. Her research investigates the role of sleep in strengthening and transforming memories, using methods such as targeted memory reactivation. She is the author of 'The Secret World of Sleep: The Surprising Science of the Mind at Rest,' which has been translated into Japanese and Chinese.
