Paul Glimcher

Paul Glimcher is the Julius Silver Professor of Neural Science at New York University and Director of the Neuroscience Institute at NYU Langone Health. He is credited as the founder of neuroeconomics, a field bridging neuroscience, psychology, and economics to understand human decision-making. His book Decisions, Uncertainty and the Brain (2003) helped popularize the term, and he co-edited the foundational textbook Neuroeconomics: Decision Making and the Brain.
