Biography
Olynyk's artistic practice explores intersections of art, science, and technology, examining "the dialectics of natural and artificial, and cognition and affect." She appropriates scientific imaging technologies in installations, photographs, and videos to investigate how interpretation shifts between "fact and speculation." Her career includes developing interdisciplinary curricula and programming at research institutions, with particular focus on fostering "third culture" collaborations across creative and scientific domains.
