Biography
Patricia J. Bauer is the Asa Griggs Candler Professor of Psychology at Emory University, widely recognized for her research on the early development of memory in children, with a focus on autobiographical memory. She earned her PhD in Experimental Developmental Psychology from Miami University and previously held faculty positions at the University of Minnesota and Duke University. She received the APA Distinguished Scientific Award for an Early Career Contribution to Psychology in 1993.
