Noren began his culinary career in Sweden as Executive Chef at KB restaurant (Michelin-starred). He relocated to New York to work alongside Marcus Samuelsson at Restaurant Aquavit, where he earned promotions and the establishment received "two Three Star reviews from New York Times, Three 1/2 Stars from NY Post." In 2006, he became VP of Culinary and Pastry Arts at International Culinary Center, expanding programs significantly. Subsequently, he served as VP of Restaurant Development at Marcus Samuelsson Group, conceptualizing and overseeing 25 restaurants. Currently directing hospitality operations for Chapman Ventures and co-founding Trade & Union. He has published an award-winning cookbook, appeared on television programs including Top Chef, and contributes to culinary publications.
