Biography

Neil Garrett is a behavioral scientist and neuroscientist whose research focuses on decision making, behavioral economics, and reinforcement learning. He holds a PhD in Experimental Psychology from University College London and was a Sir Henry Wellcome Research Fellow at Oxford and Princeton University. His notable publication 'The Brain Adapts to Dishonesty' in Nature Neuroscience demonstrated how the amygdala's response to dishonesty diminishes over time.
