Distinguished Emerita Professor
Nancy DiTomaso is a sociologist and management scholar whose research addresses diversity, culture, and inequality, as well as the management of knowledge-based organizations. Her 2013 book The American Non-Dilemma: Racial Inequality without Racism (Russell Sage Foundation) argues that America's racial divide is sustained more by whites' preferential treatment toward each other than by overt racial discrimination. She served as chair of the Department of Management and Global Business for twelve years and as Vice Dean of Faculty and Research.
