Martin Conway
Biography
Martin A. Conway (1952-2022) was a British psychologist who pioneered the study of autobiographical memory. His Self-Memory System model, proposing that autobiographical memory is constructed within a system composed of an autobiographical knowledge base and the working self, helped define the entire subfield. His work also addressed the interactions between human memory and the law.
