Biography

Mahan Azadpour is a neuroscientist and biomedical engineer who researches cochlear implant and auditory brainstem implant devices, among the most successful neural interface technologies. He began his academic career at Sharif University of Technology in Iran, earning a graduate degree in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, then pursued his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at the International School for Advanced Studies in Italy. His research employs psychophysics, electrophysiology, and computational modeling to improve assistive technologies for hearing-impaired individuals.
