Biography

Luis Cabral is an economist specializing in industrial organization, with a focus on firm dynamics, innovation, platforms, and reputation in media and entertainment industries. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University in 1989 under the supervision of Paul Milgrom and has previously taught at Yale, UC Berkeley, London Business School, and IESE Business School. He is the author of Introduction to Industrial Organization (MIT Press, 2000) and has published over 40 papers in specialized economics journals.
