Biography

Jill Gordon is a philosopher specializing in ancient Greek philosophy (primarily Plato) and social philosophy (race, economic inequality, feminist philosophy). She served as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty at Pitzer College, and as Coordinator of Women's Studies for the Claremont Colleges. She cofounded the Ancient Philosophy Society and Colby's Simone de Beauvoir Society.
