Biography
Born 1946, age 79-80. BA from University of Wisconsin (1967), MA from University of Frankfurt, PhD in Sociology from NYU (1978, advisors: Richard Sennett, Dennis Wrong, Bertell Ollman). One of founders of relational psychoanalysis. Thesis focused on internalization and instrumental culture.
