Biography

James L. Fuller is a primatologist and research fellow at Columbia University whose doctoral research focused on the evolution and expansion of vocal signal repertoires, with emphasis on the communication system of blue monkeys (Cercopithecus mitis). He began working with wild primates in Kenya in 1995 and has since participated in behavioral and conservation-directed research in Uganda, DR Congo, Thailand, and Cambodia.
