James Berger

James Berger is a Senior Lecturer in American Studies and English at Yale University, where he teaches courses on apocalyptic literature, utopias and dystopias, and disability studies. He holds a PhD from the University of Virginia and is the author of After the End: Representations of Post-Apocalypse (1999) and The Disarticulate: Language, Disability, and the Narratives of Modernity (2014). He is also a published poet and plays in multiple jazz bands.
