Jacqueline Gottlieb

Jacqueline Gottlieb is a Professor of Neuroscience at Columbia University's Zuckerman Institute, where she studies the neural mechanisms underlying attention, decision-making, and curiosity. Born in Romania and educated at MIT and Yale, she pioneered studies of attention as information demand. She is the founder and director of the Research Cluster on Curiosity at Columbia's Center for Science and Society.
