Biography

Francois Ansermet is a psychoanalyst and child psychiatrist who co-founded the Agalma Foundation with neuroscientist Pierre Magistretti to develop research between neuroscience and psychoanalysis. Their collaborative work links neuroplasticity with the psychoanalytic concept of the dynamic unconscious, showing that experiences are physically inscribed through traces in the brain. He is a member of the World Association of Psychoanalysis and the Ecole de la Cause Freudienne.
