Biography
Daniel S. Goldin served as the 9th and longest-tenured Administrator of NASA from 1992 to 2001, appointed by President George H. W. Bush and continuing under Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush. Known for his "faster, better, cheaper" philosophy, his tenure saw the launch of the International Space Station program and permanent human occupancy of space. Before NASA, he spent 25 years at TRW working on classified military and intelligence space programs.
