Biography
Christopher Cerrone is an American composer of dramatic, orchestral, chamber, and electronic music, and a member of the composition faculty at Mannes School of Music at The New School. He holds degrees from the Yale School of Music and the Manhattan School of Music, and was a 2014 Pulitzer Prize finalist and 2015 Rome Prize winner. His operas include Invisible Cities and the six-time Grammy-nominated In a Grove, and he is a founding member of the composers' collective Sleeping Giant.
