Biography

Chip Gagnon is a political scientist specializing in international politics, ethnic and nationalist conflict, political demobilization, democracy promotion, and post-conflict societies. His current research focuses on how images of a dangerous outside world are used as a domestic political resource. He is a long-term Visiting Scholar at the Judith Reppy Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies at Cornell University.
