Bonnie Costello

Bonnie Costello is the William Fairfield Warren Distinguished Professor and Professor of English Emerita at Boston University, where she has taught since 1977. An internationally recognized literary critic and authority on modern American poetry, she has written extensively about Marianne Moore, Elizabeth Bishop, Wallace Stevens, and John Ashbery. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and has received Guggenheim, Rockefeller, and NEH research fellowships.
