Anna Balas

Anna Balas is a board-certified psychiatrist, child psychiatrist, and psychoanalyst with a special interest in transcultural factors and creativity. She is a Training and Supervising Analyst at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute, where she teaches young child psychiatry and psychoanalysis students. Her teaching focuses on child development, transgenerational transmission of trauma, psychic trauma, and narcissism.
