Biography

Alana Quinn organizes exhibitions and public programs exploring intersections of art, science, and culture at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. She has co-organized the popular monthly D.C. Art Science Evening Rendezvous (DASER) salon since its inception in 2011. Quinn curated the NAS' current art exhibition, Steve Miller: Health of the Planet, on view through January 31, 2018. She serves as an art advisor on the science policy journal Issues in Science and Technology. She holds a BFA in photography and media arts from Alfred University, Alfred, NY and an MA in museum studies from Johns Hopkins University, Washington, D.C.
